Sonic Labs has unveiled a major update involving the minting and distribution of 190,500,000 S tokens. This event was orchestrated through a community governance vote on June 19, 2025, with a focus on targeted incentives and high-speed performance.

Andre Cronje, affiliated with Sonic Labs, played a significant role by destroying 1,866,256.59 S tokens from his airdrop allocation. This act reflects a systemic approach to reducing token supply and potential sell pressure.
